New footsteps, creature sounds and music for Aetheria

The Dark Horse now has hoofbeats, while White and Black Tigers have softer paw steps. Sounds vary with the ground: stone, grass, snow, gravel, wood and wet areas. Steps follow distance traveled and stop when the mount is standing still; small particles show contact with the floor.

Monsters in the added areas receive attack, hit-reaction and defeat sounds according to their family. Rats, serpents, sludge creatures, kobolds, undead, magic eyes and other creatures have distinct identities. Particles accompany these actions, and the new sewer maws and eyes use effect colors that suit them.

Five original themes, around two minutes each, accompany Noria woodland, Devias fields, the Celestial Plateau, Lumen Sewers and the Deep Cesspit. Open areas retain a sense of fantasy and discovery; underground regions gain more suspense. Music loops continuously. Noria town and the menu retain the Fairy Glade theme.

The additions work automatically when you use a mount, encounter these creatures or visit the corresponding areas. Music, sound-effect and volume controls remain in the audio menu. To hear the files separately, open scrollofmana.com/previa-audio-mundo?lang=en.

Images show actual gameplay from this version, using demonstration characters in an isolated test environment. This update covers audio and visual effects; combat, equipment, level and reward rules are preserved.
