Scroll of Mana classes

Scroll of Mana has five playable classes. Your choice changes the weapons your character can equip, the skills available and the way you face monsters. Start with the style you want to practise: standing close to an enemy, fighting at range, casting spells or commanding companions.

The advice below helps you compare those differences before creating a hero. It is not a power ranking: equipment, attributes, skills and positioning all matter in combat. Alongside the promotional illustrations, see each actual pixel art character wearing an example of complete equipment.

Weapons and equipment
Swords, axes, maces and greatswords, with the Knight’s own armor line. A shield can accompany a one-handed weapon; a greatsword uses both hands and leaves that slot unavailable.
A good fit if you…
Enjoy following the fight up close and prefer physical attacks. In your first encounters, watch how many enemies approach and leave room to retreat. Compare a weapon-and-shield setup with a greatsword before changing your equipment.

Weapons and equipment
Wands and staves are the Wizard’s weapons. The off-hand accepts a book, including alongside a staff. Shields used by other classes cannot be equipped by the Wizard; look for the class’s own armor line.
A good fit if you…
Want elemental spells and enjoy managing distance and mana. Learn each skill’s reach before gathering several monsters. Keep mana potions close at hand and read a book’s requirements to choose one your character can actually use.

Weapons and equipment
Bows and crossbows occupy both hands. The Elf uses her own armor line and equips neither a shield nor the Wizard’s book. When comparing weapons, check their attribute requirements as well as the displayed damage.
A good fit if you…
Prefer watching enemies from a distance and moving between attacks. Practise selecting a target without approaching another group. Agility and archery skills are part of the class’s identity; read their descriptions before arranging your skill bar.

The blade meets magic. Combine physical strength and arcane power to forge your own path on the battlefield.

Class 3 wings

Demonstration equipment. You begin your adventure with starter equipment and earn new pieces by playing.

Weapons and equipment
Swords, axes, maces, greatswords, staves and wands offer physical and magical options. Armor must belong to the Gladiator’s line. He can use a shield when the weapon leaves a hand free, but cannot equip Wizard books.
A good fit if you…
Like experimenting with the relationship between steel and magic. That variety rewards attention: an available weapon does not mean all your attributes and skills suit it. At first, choose one attack style and understand its requirements before changing the combination.
Dark Lord

Command · Companions

Dark Lord

Lead with power and presence. Wield your scepter, develop Command and ride into battle with your Dark Raven and Dark Horse.

Weapons and equipment
Scepters, swords and maces go with the Dark Lord’s armor line. The class can use a shield or the Dark Raven in the off-hand slot. The Dark Raven and Dark Horse are class-specific companions, tied to its Command identity.
A good fit if you…
Want to combine your hero’s attacks with developing companions. Read the Dark Raven and Dark Horse requirements before spending points. Command is a Dark Lord attribute; understand how it supports your choices instead of copying another class’s attribute allocation.

Before equipping an item

Read the item details in your inventory. Its allowed class, level and attribute requirements must match your character. Another class’s armor does not become compatible because its numbers are higher, and a two-handed weapon can prevent use of the off-hand slot.

Use the village vault to store pieces you want to keep. It is shared by your characters in the same realm. Your account area also lets you inspect equipment, inventory, skills and the vault; check the selected realm to see the right collection.
