Rebuilt footsteps, creature sounds and music for Aetheria

Mount sounds have been rebuilt from recorded contact, weight and material textures. The Dark Horse has clearer hoof contacts; White and Black Tigers have softer padded paw steps. Stone, grass, snow, gravel, wood and wet ground have their own textures. Each contact follows the mount animation phase, and steps stop when the mount stands still.

New contact effects leave hoof or paw marks on the ground, with dust, small leaves, snow or splashes according to the material. Creatures receive restrained attack gestures, droplets, fragments or energy according to their family. Attack, hit-reaction and defeat sounds have been rebuilt using recordings and material layers to distinguish rats, serpents, sludge, goblins, undead, magic eyes and other creatures.

Noria now has the original Secrets of the Fairies composition, with harp, flutes, celesta, strings and a soft ambient bed. The same theme follows the town and woodland of Noria. The other four areas also receive new compositions: Welcoming Snow in Devias, Islands of the Horizon on the Plateau, Water Passages in the Sewers and Roots of Darkness in the Cesspit. The five pieces last between 2 minutes 15 seconds and 2 minutes 29 seconds and loop continuously.

To access the additions, enter the game and visit the areas or use your mount normally. Music, effects and volume controls remain in the audio menu. At scrollofmana.com/previa-audio-mundo?lang=en, footsteps now have 7.5-second walking examples; creatures demonstrate two variations of each action. Full music tracks and recording credits are available on the page.

Images show actual gameplay using demonstration characters in an isolated test environment. This update covers audio and visual effects and preserves combat, progression, equipment, quest and account rules.
