Noria has a new Mother Tree
The Mother Tree, north of Noria's plaza, has a new look. Instead of the old tree with its smooth, rounded canopy, there is now an ancient tree: a thick, twisted trunk, moss climbing up the bark, thick roots spread over the ground and a full canopy of leaves in many shades of green that matches the rest of the elven town.
Only the drawing changed. The tree stays in the same place, with the same size and the same area you cannot walk through. At night it still lights the plaza with its golden glow, and the fairy lights and lanterns around its roots are still there. The little door and small lanterns that were drawn on the old tree went away with it.
When your hero walks behind the tree, the canopy turns see-through, as before, so you never lose sight of your character.
To see it: travel to Noria with Selene in the Village of Lumen and walk north from the plaza.
The tree art comes from the Valley of Ruin pack by Kino (kinodev.itch.io), adapted for the game: enlarged and with its greens tuned for Noria.
The pictures below were taken in the game itself, on a test server, with a test hero.
