Skills from all five classes got new visual effects: slashes with light trails, shockwaves, marks and cracks on the ground, branching lightning, arrows of light, magic circles, fire columns, ice crystals, shadow spears and much more. 52 skills were remade. Evil Spirit and Chains of Fire, which had already received new effects before, stay the same.
The higher the skill's level, the more impressive the effect. Early skills are quick and clean, so everyday combat does not clutter the screen. High-level skills such as Blade Storm, Nova, Arrow Storm, Gigantic Storm and Seismic Tremor become big spectacles.
Only the look changed: damage, range, cooldown, mana cost and skill rules stay exactly the same.
Other players also see the new effects when you use skills near them, in a slightly lighter version to keep the game smooth when the screen is crowded.
In the game menu, the Effect quality option chooses between Auto, Ultra, Normal and Low. On Auto, the game lowers the quality by itself if the device starts to struggle. On Off, or on devices without WebGL2 support, the game keeps using the old effects.
